Strong Nation Conservatism, Weak Nation Labour

Today, my case for why Labour makes the UK weaker was published in Conservative Home. You can read it by clicking on the previous hyperlink.

However, I’d also like to remind people that while why side is truly awful, the other is doing a fantastic job. Here is a list of a few of the Conservatives accomplishments:

The Choice is Clear- Conservatives for a Strong and Great Britain

If Britain ceases to be an economic or military power, or even ceases to be united nation at all, her prestige on the world stage will diminish. Why would America need a “special relationship” if Britain is just another European socialist state? Why would global corporations and entrepreneurs give any thought to investing in a nation that is hostile to businesses and regards the successful as the enemy? Labour is advocating for a weak and little nation.

On the other hand, the Conservatives are about the people’s empowerment:

  • Empowerment of business with the lowest corporate tax rate in the G20.

  • Empowerment of people able to keep more of their own money, from the minimum wage worker to Richard Branson.

  • Empowerment of people to buy their own homes and pass it on to their children with the expansion of right to buy and moving the family home out of inheritance tax.

  • Empowerment of an economy that under their watch has risen from a shambles to being the fastest growing of the G7 under Conservative leadership.

  • Empowering of the British people to decide in a referendum whether they want to be part of a European project- a process that has already resulted in the first ever cut in the European budget and the UK taken out of European bailout commitments.

  • Empowering parents to form more free schools to better their children’s education.

  • Empowerment of people to work rather than depend on government handout- Britain today has record number of people in work thanks to the brilliant vision of Iain Duncan Smith.

The choice is yours Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Do you want to be Weak Britain? Or do you want to be a people-empowered, property-owning democracy? Please, vote Conservative, down with #weaknationlabour! (And late happy St. George’s Day)
