Trinidad Youth PM – The Spirit, Love and Vision of Britain will never be defeated.

As Youth Prime Minister and Former Commonwealth Youth Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago I offer my sincerest condolences to the people of Britain for the great tragedy that struck Manchester on behalf of the Youth of this former Colony of Britain. However in doing so I would like to remind the British people and all citizens of the free democratic world that the Spirit, love and vision of the British people can never be defeated because it is these qualities which built our world.

Britain has been a mother and nurturer to many nations and cultures, she has led world development for many years and therefore her resilience will stand up to any form of attack on her democracy. This cruel incident was no doubt committed by cowards who were failures in their own life so they resorted to destruction to attack a nation’s peace, sense of purpose and way of life. However the British way of life is one that can never be defeated, it can be attacked but never halted nor broken. The British way of life doesn’t only represent a culture but represents the truest form of development because it is on this premise democracy and freedom was established throughout the Commonwealth group of nations.

Therefore today as a Caribbean Youth who has benefited so much from “Mother Britannia” I can resolutely say that Britain will emerge even stronger out of one of her darkest moments.We therefore offer our love, our prayers and most of all our friendship tho those who offered us guidance on nation building and sustainable ways of living.

To all the citizens of Britain we say God bless you and may you grow stronger to continue being a leader in Global development.

Nicholas Morris is the Youth Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago. Nicholas Morris has served as the Nation's Commonwealth Youth Ambassador between the period 2011-2015 as well as the UN Youth Rep. between the period of 2013 -2015 having represented the nation in Sri Lanka, Dubai, Australia, UK Nicholas Morris has been actively involved in the local Politics of Trinidad and Tobago as he served as the Chairman of the United National Congress Youth Arm during the party's tenure in Government (2010-2015) and now serves as the International Affairs Officer of the United National Congress. Nicholas Morris is currently the Parliamentary Adviser to the Opposition Chief Whip of Trinidad and Tobago . In 2011 became one of the Youngest Directors of a State Company when he was appointed as Director of the Youth Training Employment Partnership Program Limited (YTEPP LTD)(2011-2017) Nicholas Morris is the grandson of a Welsh World War Veteran (Wilfred Morris) and has written many articles within the local media on the importance of British values, British Development , Impact of the UK on World Development and has been featured in the UK newspapers - Dailymail UK for his article "Thank you Britain" He has formed the movement TT Conservatives to spread the Conservative values within Trinidad and Tobago.
