Jacob Rees-Mogg, elected as Conservative MP for North East Somerset in 2010, has already built a reputation as a great speech-maker in the House of Commons and is firmly establishing himself as a viewers favourite on TV.
His speeches and answers tend to be highly intelligent, simply explained and hard to argue against.
What is also becoming apparent is his enormous wit, with quick retorts and put-downs which cause uproar and applause from all in attendance.
Jacob Rees-Mogg’s recent appearance on Question Time, with an excellent reply to David Dimbleby’s jibe about Eton, has elevated him to almost cult status with the Twitterati, from all sides of the political divide.
